1999年，愛德格持續透過線上購物買棒球書籍，除了年鑑之外，由於前一年是McGwire與Sosa破全壘打紀錄的一年，還特地買新發行的Total Baseball，以及運動新聞所出紀念精裝書，另外則是知名轉播員Tim McCarver的書與黑襪事件小說「Eight Men Out 」。
